Employment law includes all aspects of the relationship between an employee and employer. It includes the beginning of the employment relationship under either common law or through a contract, which may include a covenant not to compete and requirements to resolve disputes through arbitration; problems that occur at work including discrimination, harassment and hostile environment; and termination of the employment relationship which can involve a separation or severance agreement.
